NourishCo Launches 24-Product Plant-Based Range Targeting Mainstream Grocery Distribution
NourishCo has unveiled a 24-product plant-based food range formulated for mainstream supermarket distribution, with confirmed listings in six major European grocery chains.
NourishCo, a food innovation company, today launched NourishCo Plant Kitchen — a 24-product range of plant-based meals, snacks, and protein alternatives formulated specifically for mainstream grocery distribution rather than specialist health food channels.
The range avoids ultra-processed formulations common in many plant-based products, using whole food ingredients — lentils, chickpeas, quinoa, oats — with no added artificial colours, flavours, or preservatives.
Confirmed retail listings at launch include Albert Heijn (Netherlands), Migros (Switzerland), Carrefour (France and Belgium), Lidl (Germany and Austria), SuperValu (Ireland), and Coop (Sweden) — a combined footprint of over 6,800 store locations.
“Plant-based food has hit a wall because most products have been expensive, niche, and frankly, not very nice,” said NourishCo CEO Siobhán Callanan. “NourishCo Plant Kitchen is affordable, genuinely delicious, and available in the supermarket your customers already shop at.”
Trade price points start at €2.49 for ambient snacks and €4.99 for chilled ready meals.
