HarbourView Hotels Opens Fifth European Property with 220-Room Copenhagen Waterfront Hotel
HarbourView Hotels has opened its fifth European property — a 220-room design hotel on Copenhagen's harbour front — as the independent group accelerates its expansion across Nordic capital cities.
HarbourView Hotels, an independent boutique hotel group, today opened the HarbourView Copenhagen — a 220-room waterfront design hotel located on Christianshavn’s harbour front, the group’s fifth European property and its second opening in 12 months.
The hotel, designed by Danish architecture studio Lundgaard & Tranberg, features 220 rooms across 11 floors, a rooftop bar, a 60-seat Nordic restaurant led by a Michelin-trained head chef, a spa with harbour-view treatment rooms, and 600 square metres of meeting and events space.
Rates start at €295 per night for standard rooms, rising to €1,800 for the 180-square-metre penthouse suite.
“Copenhagen’s hotel market has been crying out for a credible independent alternative to the international chains,” said HarbourView CEO Elias Thorsen. “We built this hotel for guests who want genuine Nordic hospitality — not a generic brand experience.”
HarbourView plans two further openings in Helsinki and Oslo in 2026, completing its Nordic capital city portfolio.
